The paradentitis term comes from the times when gums’ problems were thought to be dependent on patient’s age. Today though we know that 20-30 year old and even children can suffer from it and if left untreated it can cause the teeth loss.
It is extremely difficult to notice the beginning of this illness as its first signs ( redness or bleeding ) are simply ignored by patients or are simply not noticed at all. Only when symptoms such as increasing teeth movement s and visible/ bare root neck as the result of gum obliteration or bones around the teeth decide about the problem recognition and start of the treatment.
Therefore discovering the problem early is very important. Our experience and especially prepared system of the treatments we are able to diagnose the stage of the illness and take up the right treatment without the need of the surgery.
That is why during every visit the dentist will estimate gums’ condition and suggest eventual options of treatment or after-treatment. And to help us we use Vector unit.
Vector
Vector is a modern system for the periodontitis treatment (the exposed roots of teeth), using ultrasonic energy. Once the tool is tilted vertically and directed parallel to the root, energy runs the abrasive or polishing (grinding) fluid and the stone is dropped from the root surface. Vector System is used to prevent and treat gingivitis, inflammation, periodontitis, mucositis and periodontal inflammation around the implant, as well as to clean the teeth of tartar and various types of dental deposit to micro-invasive developing tooth tissues, elimination of overhangs and smoothing restorations in the gum area.
